Swedish metal band Avatar has unveiled a brand new track along with an official video for ‘Valley of Disease’.

Avatar has been extremely busy this year, with support slots with huge bands such as Iron Maiden and Sabaton, whilst also completing their own US tour. They have also brought their unique and must-see live show over the summer to the festival circuit, with appearances at Bloodstock, Cadott Festival, INKcarceration and Summer Breeze.
Vocalist Johnannes Eckerstrom discussed the song:
“There is a sickness, a stranger, and a harmful way. A twisted landscape untouched by the sun. I leave the rest up to either you or me, but never both at the same time. You can only enter this place alone, and my path isn’t yours. Your secret is safe with me, but so is mine.”
Whilst Avatar are at work with their upcoming new album, they have vowed to return to the UK with their Dance Devil Dance tour in February before taking to mainland Europe in March. Main support throughout the tour will come in the form of Veil of Maya, with British sludge unit Mastiff taking part in the UK leg, and Swiss outfit, Kassogtha for the European part.
