With the sad departure and break up of Russkaja, Bloodstock Festival have announced for a replacement in Bloodstock alumni, Bossk. The atmospheric/post-metal Bossk have turned heads from the start, refusing to be stuck in the mud, they have a forever evolving and experimental sound that is never short of being explosive, 2021’s studio release ‘Migration’ is further proof of their strides in scaping the land they tread. A fitting band if ever the was to return to Bloodstock after so long.

Bossk spoke of their return: “It’s been a fair few years since we last played at Bloodstock. When we played the first time we were a little apprehensive about how we would go down at a predominantly fast metal festival, but the response was incredible. And even better the next time. To play in 2023 is going to be incredible, and to see the festival continue to grow is a great thing for the UK music scene. Thank you to everyone involved for having us back, we can’t wait. Hail the riff.
